Be Dangerous, Be Proactive, and Go Get "It."

I've been doing something very out of character for myself... I have been reading. What a bore... I know! Before you dig into this article, what is your "it." What are you striving for? And if you're not striving for something, you better start!

The two books that have stood out to me the most have been "Be Obsessed or Be Average" by Grant Cardone and the classic "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R. Covey.

In his book, Grant talks about being dangerous. Not putting your life on the line, necessarily, but making moves and taking risks. Keeping people guessing. What is holding you back from accomplishing your goals? Are you afraid people will make fun of you if you put yourself out there or express big dreams? Who cares! Be dangerous and go for that goal. Take a chance and bet on yourself!

We follow up Cardone's "be dangerous" thought with Covey's "7 Habits." You have been dangerous by setting a big goal and putting yourself out there. Now what? Habit one from the 7 habits is to be proactive. Y'all this goes for everything. Want to hit that fitness goal? Be proactive. Want a better marriage? Proactively pursue your spouse. Want to make more money? Don't complain or just talk about making more money. Be proactive by making more sales calls, starting a side hustle, or seeking a higher paying job.

What is your "it?"

Be dangerous by dreaming big and not being afraid what others will think if you break the mold to take yourself to the next level.

But you can't be dangerous if you just talk a big game. Be proactive. Take steps every single day to reach your goal. Less Netflix and more hustle.

Let's get "it!"
